It’s been a while, but those who have been with me since the blogspot will remember my fondness for 20 minute mixes. Anyway I’ve got a few guest mixes/podcasts on the horizion and this is exactly what it says on tin. A quick warm up session.

£1.50 a pint!?… Ok, so we stumbled upon a pretty good live music venue/pub in south London who put on pretty good nights(which is obvious from the above), and a really nice vibe… but they happen to also serve the cheapest drinks I’ve ever come across in the capital. Fox and Firkin we salute you. Also try and get down to one of the Panasonic Youth nights held down there every Tuesday. Diverse nights that aren’t afraid to put on a show/blow a sub/cause a mess.

These are out on Rinse in March, and there’s a full length album to look out for later in the year which is pretty good. If you don’t already know about him read this brief introducing feature I did with him for the Boxfresh blog back in 2010, then go search what he’s been up to lately because I ain’t Google init.

What happens in a Grime Rave?

Just found this on my old pc from a few years ago, I can’t actually remember the main reason for starting it, or why I never finished it properly, but I’ve always liked infographics and Grime, so… may knock out a series of them if I ever get time, with some updated shit, and actual stats. Yeah stats is a good call.
